“Deck the Halls” LYRICS

1
Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
fa la la la la, la la la.
‘Tis the season to be jolly,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yuletide carol,
fa la la la la, la la la.

2
See the blazing Yule before us,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Follow me in merry measure,
fa la la la la, la la la.
While I tell of Yuletide treasure,
fa la la la la, la la la.

3
Fast away the old year passes,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Sing we joyous all together,
fa la la la la, la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather,
fa la la la la, la la la.

Michaela’s Bio

Up-and-coming vocalist Michaela Band is thrilled to be making her big-stage debut with the Eureka Symphony. A fifth grader at Cutten Elementary, ten-year-old Michaela is an experienced performer with a sophisticated sense of musicality and a passion for the stage. This past spring, Michaela starred as JoJo in the Cutten Elementary school production of Seussical the Musical (kids edition). She also participates in the Humboldt Light Opera Company’s “KidCo” children’s theater program. A well-rounded musician, Michaela plays clarinet and piano, and has recently picked up guitar as well. She is also a seasoned aerial silks artist, and has performed jaw-dropping aerial silk routines at nearly a dozen local events over the past five years, including the North Country Fair, the Medieval Festival of Courage, and the Fairy Festival.
